Two detectives (one with dark curly hair, and the other resembling curly stooge) standing in a bar at the scene of the crime with suspicious man between them.
curly hair: 'hmm there's something behind him...'
reveal of a smaller, less suspicious man behind the suspicious guy
curly hair: 'hmm there's something behind him'
gag continues until smaller man is a midget
curly hair 'hmm there's something behind him...'
a camera is behind the midget and it flashes to a room of writer's and film people at a table and they are grumbling in disgust slightly, then a reveal of a woman sitting at the table in a shredded sweater.
Back to the curly hair detective who is bent over and shaking at the waist with his hand on his chin thinking
curly stooge: 'YOU SOLVED IT!'
curly hair: yes but.... there's something..... behind me (slowly looks)
flashlight on the midget shaking the detective
'IT'S THE MIDGET FROM THE BACK OF THE LINE!!'
curly hair: 'hmm there's something behind him...'
