Nothing "meaningless" about it, no matter how desperately you try to spin it. EVERY criminal investigation operates on that very framework.
He said if they find evidence of criminal acts sufficient to press charges, then he’s going to press charges.
Well not shit. That’s exactly what the AG does. He could say that about literally anything. It’s meaningless.
It’s just that the faithful around here are taking this as a promise that there will be prosecutions.
