All the Clinton haters had on Bill was a lie in response to a question that Ken Starr asked, hoping Bill would lie. The lie was about a consensual affair with a woman past the age of consent who took most or all of the initiative.

I did not think the question should have been asked. Neither did most Americans. During this so called "scandal" Bill Clinton's approval rating reached never seen before heights.

You need to go back and review history. Clinton lied under oath AND obstructed justice.

You are correct that Clinton’s approval rating soared. In my opinion, he was already one of History’s most popular and effective Presidents that he could have flat out told the American People he had an affair and most Americans would not have an issue.
