There was an offer by the court to order a temporary injunction if they paid the bond. The plaintiffs opted not to pay it because it was a large sum of money which they would have lost had the lost the lawsuit.

Because we do have audits. These same Republican Senators complained last year and they got a recount. It was a partial recount based on a statistically significant portion of ballots. That turned up nothing. The Senate Republicans weren't happy about that so then they demanded an audit on the voting equipment. They got that too. That also turned up nothing. Remarkably, despite getting a recount and an audit, those Republican state Senators, still not happy, demanded and got yet another audit. That too turned up nothing. Rather than hire a reputable and qualified firm to perform the audit, they hired a company with zero auditing experience, led by a conspiracy nut who himself promoted the Big Lie. Now they're in possession of the ballots where their reportedly marking them up illegally with wrong colored pens and there's no oversight. They could be destroying ballots by marking votes for all anyone knows. Who knows why you're ok with that?
