They've had 100 years to show they have a better system and to date they haven't even come close.

This isn't the old communism, this is neo-communism. It's perfected in Canada and Ontario specifically. Use tax dollars to "partner" with free market businesses. This not only ensures government patsies are employed but also excessive interference and violations of individual liberty and within the business. Instead of the government saying they own the means of production, they simply control it via management and limiting competition by way of regulations and internal manipulation. Check out Green Energy companies and how they exploit this "relationship", all while using media scare tactics to tell you it's necessary because tomorrow you may burn up in smoke from the heat.

You can be sure this is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous as it is embraced by the security apparatus (as a nice big budget and power boon) and the businesses and investors themselves who get a free ride off the taxpayers back. In the end, everyone else will be holding the bag. Elitism and a caste system at it's finest. If America accepts Canadian tactics, you're done for, it's already creeping into U.S business thanks to Obama, which is why you now have $20T in debt.
