When was the last mass killing done with a hammer?

There was one recently in China with a knife. The potential was there.

But what is the fixation with mass killings? 26 died in Newtown. That's just 2 weeks in Chicago and about 16 hours in all of the US.
On the average blunt objects are used in about 2x as many murders as so called assault weapons.
It's rather difficult to say exactly 2x but, for instance in 2009, 352 people were killed with all rifles (of which "assault weapons" comprise a minority) in the US. and 623 were killed with blunt objects.

The reason why liberals are so concerned about the rare mass shootings is because it's pretty much the only time whites are shot when it's not a domestic issue or a suicide. they don't give a damn about the daily black on black and hispanic shootings because that doesn't happen in the suburbs where liberals live.
