Folks, notice that the left EVERY-FUCKING-STEP-OF-THE-WAY, fights ANY attempt whatsoever to stop illegals from getting in this country.

This November, and EVERY election, if you vote for a Dimocrat AT ANY LEVEL you are approving of our country being flooded by illegals, driving down blue collar wages, and making our steets less safe.
You are the one who approves of more motorists being on the road uninsured.

They’re not taking any new hostages going forward but the 2500 children he’s already taken will remain in custody until he gets what he wants or Congress impeaches his sorry ass, whichever comes first.

Yep DL - There is also an issue with Donald keeping families in detention. Something called the "Flores Ruling" limits the time families may be kept together even as a family past 20 days.
This is what happened to Obama. There was such a backlog, that he would simply deport them at the 20 day mark which was the smart way to do it. Barack's backlog was a picnic compared to this one. Bottom line is that Orange Foolius won't be able to keep them past the 20 day mark - meaning release or serious backlash in court.
And you are correct. Trump did a piss-poor job of taking names and pictures of these kids with their guardian. At best - around half (1200 of them) will never be reunited and those kids'll be scarred for life.
