After watching the public reaction to Soleimani’s murder followed by vows of revenge by Iran, we are apparently on the brink of war. At this point it seems obvious that we need to go public with the intel we have showing the imminent attack that was being planned against Americans.

This intel should clearly show the world that Soleimani was a clear and present danger and we had no choice but to go outside of protocol and assassinate him. Do you agree? Thoughts?

Ok I just saw a presser for Esper and some good steps we’re made. He said that Soleimani was in Baghdad planning an attack on US entities and that the attack was likely to happen within days. That’s a good start. He is briefing the gang of 8 today where they will see the classified intel and he will brief congress in a more general way tomorrow. This should have been done immediately after the attack. I have no clue why it wasn’t. We shall see how it all shakes out.
