So much to discuss here but this is one that stands out from the OP's article:
"Peter Daszak: a fierce opponent of the lab-leak theory and president of EcoHealth Alliance. Between 2014 and 2019, his organization funneled $3.4 million in National Institutes of Health grants provided by Fauci's subagency to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to study bat coronaviruses. He was also the only American on a 10-member team that the World Health Organization sent to China last winter to investigate the origins of the virus. At least one major virologist has claimed that Daszack's nonprofit helped fund risky "gain-of-function" research."

For Daszak to have been one of the approved members of the first investigative team reeks of corruption. WHO is to blame for this intentional selection of the team right? At least one person working for WHO should be questioned about this mind-blowing decision, but I'm guessing at least 5 or so upper management types from WHO were involved in forming the team. Truly a Twilight Zone moment. All involved with that decision alone need to explain why they thought any person with ties to the specific lab could be objective. WHO members, at least a chunk of them, apparently are politically corrupt and need to be drilled in an open forum.

Hey, they are pretty good at drilling people on the Hill during those congressional grandstanding events (both sides have done this) but many politicians would waste time grandstanding for their own purposes..so there's that An international committee with members from Australia and New Zealand could do it. These two countries are making the effort to get the truth.
