The way the medical community handled COVID greatly eroded their credibility.

As assistant secretary for preparedness and response at the Department of Health and Human Services, Kadlec offered a lengthy statement to lawmakers on the “four principal functions” of his role.

None of those functions involved downplaying without scientific evidence a theory that the virus emerged from a laboratory in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. But that’s what Kadlec now says he did by assisting Dr. Anthony Fauci, America’s former top infectious diseases adviser, in his effort to suppress the lab leak theory.

Internally in order to follow world protocols .
But what was effectively proxy research was carried out if it was done outside .That is , Wuhan .

It probably was academic anyhow, other than setting up the false trail , because Fort Detrick in Maryland had probably kicked off the G of F , around 2012, which Chapel Hill took over in around 2014 from memory . Results published with two or three Chinese co -authors involved who went back to Wuhan .

But we don’t need to investigate that it was likely leaked from a lab that we knew about and maybe even funded? That should be investigated first and foremost, but, alas, we must make sure we get the Trump bashing in. The timing of the leak was far very convenient if you are a Democrat and/or Trump hater because the way the economy was humming along, Trump was a virtual lock to win the re-election.
