That whole 1st amendment is so outdated in these dangerous times. Govt is biggest purveyor of misinfo

Have free speech, but be responsible and take ownership of what you say, and bolster libel and slander laws. It will create three things -

1) More sensible and more mature speech

2) Folk realising they need evidence to back their statements l, so they're start thinking

well, it's simple, just ensure one show a receipt for anything they say if out of sorts with what someone else says. Both sides.
