Good move on Jordan's part since many of the members of ISIS were incited by their clergy. All the Muslim countries should order the same thing of their clergy, and the word should get out to the Muslim clergy in Europe and elsewhere so that the young people would stop running off to join ISIS.

In another move to crack down on ISIS supporters in the country, Jordanian authorities have ordered clerics to preach only moderate Islam.

In an effort to counter the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS) and its effect on her borders, Jordan has imposed new rules on Muslim clerics.

In a mandatory meeting held at an auditorium in Zarqa and attended by hundreds of Muslim clerics, Jordan's Minister of Islamic Affairs, Hayel Dawood, ordered imams to preach moderate Islam - or else.

“You clerics are our ground forces against the extremists,” Hayel Dawood told them. “Once you cross the red line,” he added, “you will not be let back in.”

Good for them. No need to condemn a whole religion because of radicals, just keep the radicals out.

At least I know that there are some who realizes the dangerous of violent fanaticism.

People do not behave like pawns. Pawns will move when you tell it and remain where you left. People have a tendency to move about on their own. And people can move against you.

I really don't know how the leaders of the Middle East look at ISIS, but the potential of their brand of radicalism spiraling out of control and engulfing more nations is real.
