I had no idea the vapid Congresswoman from NY had made a movie & released it into theatres across the country.
It made less than $10,000 total despite rave reviews from woke critics, many of whom undoubtedly wet the seat while watching it in the theatre. There were no audience scores since nobody saw it.
It was an avg of about $80 per theatre or about 8 tickets apiece.
I'm no rocket surgeon but that seems extremely low for someone supposedly as popular as AOC & her AGW fear mongering hysteria that is the basis for crashing the world.
When asked about the dismal performance, she may have said "This is just more violence from cis white males that eat steak, literally support Hitler & are just jelly 'cuz they want to bang me."
After reporters scratched their heads & asked for clarification, Ms. Cortez farted & blew away in a gently breeze.
I'm wondering how someone with less substance than a wet fart like AOC convinced anyone to fund this fiasco.
Whether the goal was a profit or just scaring & indoctrinating more sheeple, it failed all the way around.
The new film, “To the End,” was filmed over four years and follows four young women, Cortez, activist Varshini Prakash, climate policy writer Rhiana Gunn-Wright, and political strategist Alexandra Rojas, as they attempt to pass sweeping climate change legislation in Congress.
The film currently boasts an 88% “fresh” critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and does not yet have an audience score.
“Representative Ocasio-Cortez offers the best onscreen antidote to despair — she’s funny, a canny political strategy,” Teo Bugbee of The New York Times wrote.
“To the End is set to ignite more Americans to take action,” RogertEbert.com’s Nick Allen wrote in his review.
The documentary debuted on over 120 screens over the weekend but garnered less than $10,000 dollars across all theaters, coming in 33rd place overall for box office.
