The reason Nixon resigned was because after the recording of his remarks that proved he was deeply involved were made public, several Republicans also voted in favor of impeachment. OTOH, if there is no rash of bombs on planes, it would be racial profiling to pull aside young black men for extra searches on the suspicion that they may be carrying a bomb. That in essence is what the IRS was doing in this case.

Answer: No, we do not, because crimes are being committed and we want to stop them before any more girls turn up dead. In this case, however, no crime has been committed and there is no good reason to profile groups with conservative sounding names.
