California Republicans didn't turnout because there was zero chance that he would carry CA and the US Senate race was between two Democrats; this chick named Sanchez and Whorizontal Harris.

California Republicans didn't turnout because there was zero chance that he would carry CA and the US Senate race was between two Democrats; this chick named Sanchez and Whorizontal Harris.

With CA Republicans staying home, Hillary won CA for 4 million votes and Trump took the popular vote in the other 49 states. The popular vote is meaningless, and Republicans being much smarter than Democrats as Republicans have much bigger brains, didn't concern themselves with the popular vote in 2016 because it was meaningless.

But, in 2020 it's worth 196 ECV! So California Republicans will turn out in 2020 and while they cannot directly give Trump CA 55 electoral college votes, they can indirectly, by making sure he takes the popular vote. That will give Trump CA plus DC, DE, HI, RI, VT, CO, CT, MD, MA, NJ, NM, OR, WA, IL, NY if enough states join to give the compact 270 votes.

That will produce the following Electoral College Map:

That's a Trump Sized Thumpin'! Right there.

The only State with more Republicans than CA is TX. And with the NPV, it's worth the time of CA Republicans to get out and vote!

Perhaps if they reformed the electoral college situation

My statement has nothing to do with Hillary. Turn down the mouth and open up the ears for a second. There are a ton of republicans in California. More than in most other states. They have no reason to go vote under the current system because the state always goes blue and gives all its electoral votes to the democrat. So all those Republican votes are wasted not to mention the many that don’t even bother voting
