There was a time we opened and closed the border as needed. Since the immigration act in the mid 1960's the border has been locked open. People coming her from other nations need to time to assimilate. To many are here and many are not doing it. We are even becoming a multiple language nation. Our nation was a good experiment that blew its wad for sellouts.
