Trump Pushes HUGE Punishments on Russia as Part of Sanctions. Take that Dems!!!

Ok, no he doesn't. As another sign of Trump not wanting to piss off Putin, he signs off on the veto-proof sanctions on Russia... with NO PENALTIES.

New Russia sanctions kick in, but US opts to punish nobody

When will Republicans finally get it?

Tell me, asshole, in all the Benghazi investigations, how many indictments and guilty pleas? Yes, traitors like you are just fine with Russia influencing our elections.
Please tell us, how did Putin get you to vote for Trump?

We get it fine. THe Cold War is over, and Trump doesn't want to restart it.

Trump will criticize ANY country or leader in the world BUT Putin and Russia despite anything they do.

We aren't in danger of restarting a potentially earth threatening conflict with any other country or leader.

Lewed-dog........when did Russia become the bane of the leftard clown posse......before or after Uranium One?

Uranium One is nothing. But since you asked, it is since Trumpo would hand Putin the nuclear football if the GOP and deep state didn't stop him. And as well as stopped by the officer that shadows Trumpo everywhere since that officer actually loves and respects his country much more than the white nationalist orthodox religionist country run by a powerful oligarch that Trumpo admires. Or perhaps Putin has Trumpo by his balls for Trumpo dynasty money laundering.

Nice use of 'buzzword' tactics. Haters are good at that. Just blurt out ''Uranium One' or 'Benghazi' or 'Clinton emails' or recent favorites 'The Dossier' as if those buzzwords magically erase Trumpo damage.

The left can't get the same kick by using buzzwords I believe primarily because the left does not live in a fake reality world.

You cannot deny or defend Trumpo's un-Republican, inexplicable fondness for Putin so a big dose of hater fake reality in "Uranium One" is needed to distract.

Uranium One is nothing but a rightwing fake reality buzzword now. Trumpo is indefensible so that is all you have.

"Uranium One is nothing"

Uranium One is nothing? Tell that to the Hildebeast that got a cool 140 million dollars out of the deal and other palms were greased from both sides of the political aisle and I bet they are getting a bit nervous right about now.

"But since you asked, it is since Trumpo would hand Putin the nuclear football if the GOP and deep state didn't stop him"

LMAO! Dude, you have just proven that you shouldn't be taken seriously but for the sake of the others that will read this response? Russia was neutered after the orchestrated ruble collapse of 1991. The banking oligarchs (that own USA.INC for now) are the ones that financed the rise of communism and funded Trotsky that ended up killing tens of millions of Russians. Russia isn't the enemy...they are still rebounding from the ruble crash of 1991 and the ruble crisis of 1998 but they are getting there since they are bypassing the Rothschild central bank and printing the ruble "interest free". Their national debt is 529 billion dollars.....USA.INC? Twenty TRILLION.......let that one sink in.

"Nice use of 'buzzword' tactics. Haters are good at that. Just blurt out ''Uranium One' or 'Benghazi' or 'Clinton emails' or recent favorites 'The Dossier' as if those buzzwords magically erase Trumpo damage"

LMAO! President Trump has been what this country has been needing since JFK. I find it utterly hilarious that you would use the word "hater" given the bullshit that you have spewed that is nothing but hatred. President Trump has only done "damage" to the globalist commie agenda and I, for one, salute him. I don't participate in the elections of what had become a banana republic but I'll be damned if he isn't changing my mind that REAL change has happened with the help of the white hats like Admiral Mike Rogers.

"You cannot deny or defend Trumpo's un-Republican, inexplicable fondness for Putin so a big dose of hater fake reality in "Uranium One" is needed to distract"

ROTFLMAO!!!!! Where in the fuck do you believe that Trump and Putin are "bosom buddies"? They have a mutual respect for each other (which they should) because both countries have weapons that would assure mutual destruction and the deep staters have been pushing Putin and trying to goad him into a war. Syria and Russia want to run a pipeline....the deep state wants to take down Assad just like the PNAC plan written by the deep state and the Hildebeast wanted to put in a "no fly zone" over Syria to prevent the proxy army funded and supported by the Mossad, the CIA, Saudi intel, MI5/MI6 we know as "ISIS". You are a political infant.....a "snowflake".

"Trumpo is indefensible so that is all you have"

I will defend President Trump until I come to the conclusion that he is just another deep state puppet of the shadow government......so far, so good. But keep spewing angst because it amuses me. Andrew McCabe is escorted out and spews angry words and will find himself under arrest shortly and that is just the beginning. This is not a good time to be a commie leftard at all......

WOW you totally OWNED his ass.:2up: especially in this sentence below.

LMAO! President Trump has been what this country has been needing since JFK

Congress voted for the sanctions, but Trump told the State Dept. to not impose them. Still think that there's nothing going on between Trump and Russia?

Analysis | The Trump administration’s weird explanation for withholding Russia sanctions

After plenty of chatter, we may be wading into the first real constitutional dispute of the Trump administration: On Monday night, the State Department announced it would not impose Russia sanctions that Congress overwhelmingly passed in mid-2017.

But its justification for doing so has some gaping logical holes.

Here's what the State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said:

“Today, we have informed Congress that this legislation and its implementation are deterring Russian defense sales. Since the enactment of the . . . legislation, we estimate that foreign governments have abandoned planned or announced purchases of several billion dollars in Russian defense acquisitions.”

A State Department official added that there was, in fact, no need for new sanctions “because the legislation is, in fact, serving as a deterrent.”

There are a few problems with this.

The first is that the legislation was meant as a punishment, not a deterrent. The Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act explicitly says at the top that it is “to provide congressional review and to counter aggression by the Governments of Iran, the Russian Federation, and North Korea, and for other purposes.” The law says it's about “countering” something, rather than preventing something. And while it lists Iran and North Korea, it was widely billed as a response to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

We aren't? Funny that people had been saying Russia isn't as powerful as they used to be...and we shouldn't worry about them. Yet Trump talks crap about China.

After putting new sanctions on North Korea, the U.S. caught China still selling them oil by transferring oil among ships out at sea, and publicly said something about it. Russia has admitted that they are continuing to do business with North Korea despite the new sanctions, Trump says nothing.

Iranian boats give U.S. ships problems, China gives U.S. ships problems, the U.S. says disparaging remarks about it, that are basically threats. Russian jets buzz ships and came within mere feet of a U.S. fighter plane. Trump says nothing. The list goes on and on. Russia does whatever they want, Trump does and says NOTHING.

We're punishing Russia for MAYBE leaking some emails?

Leaked emails is not worth a Cold War.

Get back to me when Putin has 10,000 tanks in the middle of Germany.

THAT'S a threat worthy of a Cold War.

That's fake reality. You can't trace one thin dime from that deal to Clinton. It s why "Uranium One" is a buzzword.

Russia is not a threat to the Global Balance of Power like the Soviet Union was.

A war with them, that we could easily blunder into, if we followed the policies pushed by some hard line idiots, would be, at best, a horrible bloody mess of WWII scale.

If nukes get used, there is not telling what could happen.

The China/North Korea thing is a different issue, one I wish was not getting so much attention, but one were Trump is obviously taking a more aggressive stance, I fear under pressure from the Establishment.

He keeps poking China who is a MUCH larger foe than Russia. Imposing sanctions that were voted overwhelmingly by Congress is not delving back into the Cold War. It's not even remotely the same.

The Tripartite Pact
27 Sep 1940

Contributor: C. Peter Chen

ww2dbaseOriginally signed by Germany, Italy, and Japan, the Tripartite Pact was a typical European-style mutual defense treaty between the signatory nations. The treaty would call upon all three nations to unite against any aggressor who had violated the sovereignty of any of the three nations, not including nations that were already engaged in war with any of the three nations. It was not difficult to see that, given the international political situation at the time, the Tripartite Pact was signed with the intention to force the United States to remain isolationist and out of WW2 which had already been waging for an extended amount of time in Europe, northern and eastern Africa, and China.

ww2dbaseA summary of the Tripartite Pact is as follows:

ww2dbaseARTICLE 1. Japan recognizes and respects the leadership of Germany and Italy in the establishment of a new order in Europe.

ww2dbaseARTICLE 2. Germany and Italy recognize and respect the leadership of Japan in the establishment of a new order in Greater East Asia.

ww2dbaseARTICLE 3. Japan, Germany, and Italy agree to cooperate in their efforts on aforesaid lines. They further undertake to assist one another with all political, economic and military means if one of the Contracting Powers is attacked by a Power at present not involved in the European War or in the Japanese-Chinese conflict.

ww2dbaseARTICLE 4. With a view to implementing the present pact, joint technical commissions, to be appointed by the respective Governments of Japan, Germany and Italy, will meet without delay.

ww2dbaseARTICLE 5. Japan, Germany and Italy affirm that the above agreement affects in no way the political status existing at present between each of the three Contracting Powers and Soviet Russia.

ww2dbaseARTICLE 6. The present pact shall become valid immediately upon signature and shall remain in force ten years from the date on which it becomes effective.

ww2dbaseThe pact was signed by representatives Führer Adolf Hitler of Germany, Foreign Minister Galeazzo Ciano of Italy, and Ambassador to Germany Saburo Kurusu of Japan.

Pacific War - Wikipedia

"From as early as 1935 Japanese military strategists had concluded the Dutch East Indies were, because of their oil reserves, of considerable importance to Japan. By 1940 they had expanded this to include Indochina, Malaya, and the Philippines within their concept of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. Japanese troop build ups in Hainan, Taiwan, and Haiphong were noted, Imperial Japanese Army officers were openly talking about an inevitable war, and Admiral Sankichi Takahashi was reported as saying a showdown with the United States was necessary.[66]

In an effort to discourage Japanese militarism, Western powers including Australia, the United States, Britain, and the Dutch government in exile, which controlled the petroleum-rich Dutch East Indies, stopped selling oil, iron ore, and steel to Japan, denying it the raw materials needed to continue its activities in China and French Indochina. In Japan, the government and nationalists viewed these embargos as acts of aggression; imported oil made up about 80% of domestic consumption, without which Japan's economy, let alone its military, would grind to a halt. The Japanese media, influenced by military propagandists,[k] began to refer to the embargoes as the "ABCD ("American-British-Chinese-Dutch") encirclement" or "ABCD line".

Faced with a choice between economic collapse and withdrawal from its recent conquests (with its attendant loss of face), the Japanese Imperial General Headquarters began planning for a war with the western powers in April or May 1941."
