Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro Indicted On Contempt Charges For Defying Jan. 6 Panel, 2nd Trump aide to suffer this fate after Steve Bannon

No, it's not....McCarthy didn't set up shit.
Yes, he did Oddball.

The House rules gave the house speaker the right to object picks on certain grounds. Pelosi legitimately followed the house rules on select committee that McCarthy himself set up for Select Committees and picks.

McCarthy then under the existing rules that McCarthy set up for the select committee on Benghazi, allows McCarthy to pick replacements for those rejected by the Speaker. 3 of McCarthy picks were accepted, and the 2 rejected for their conflict of interests, McCarthy could replace.

McCarthy didn't want the investigation from the beginning, so he used this as an excuse to pull out and claim the select committee as illegitimate....fake, a hoax, the deep state....you know, the usual suspects of the right wing....

A speedy trial and jail.

Trump's time is coming too!

So he refused to lie, like they tried to pressure Manafort into doing.

Next you are going to tell us that Russian Collusion was true and was not a plot to overthrow our Democracy and install a Diaper Shitting Globalist Kid Fondling Crack Head Puppet like Joe Xiden.

You have been saying "Any Day Now" over false charges for 6 years so far.

Are you off your puberty blockers now?

It's like when a person calls the criminal court illegitimate, and refuses to cooperate. The judge will appoint a lawyer to represent him, even if he objects. That is in order to make the case against him legitimate.

Thus the appointment of the two Republicans on the committee and staffing for the committee that were republicans too, by Pelosi.

Yes, but it was the January 6 committee that requested it.

Meanwhile over 1,000 witnesses still not enough?

LOL
It's no different than when somebody presses felony charges. The case becomes the property of the DA or the US Attorney, who have to convince a grand jury there is enough evidence to have the indicted stand trial.
The January 6th committee doesn't have any sway over the DOJ. Or the three other people they referred to DOJ for contempt of congress, would have been indicted by now.

Peloski didn't allow McCarty to choose who would be on the GOP side...There is no ranking member...The whole shit show is illegitimate, and you know it.

It may not matter, but a congressional investigation is supposedly designed to enable poor befuddled Congress critters to find facts upon which to base laws. What law are these partisan assholes seeking to craft?

Is there some need to create any new laws to deal with mass protests over an election? Are laws needed to criminalize alleged conduct which is obviously already criminal (such as trespass, property damage and assaults)? Obviously not.

What’s left? A show. That’s what the completely partisan congressional investigatory committee is doing. They’re putting on a show.

It’s not a good show. It’s not informative. It’s fiction. It won’t win any awards. It is already a poor plot and badly scripted. It serves no purpose other than the partisan committee members’ political agenda: “news” cycles and their endlessly dishonest drumbeat.

Actually in the Trump papers case that went to the USSC court, the court upheld the ruling that the subpoena was legitimate, which put to rest the claim the committee was illegitimate.

Tell it to the judges (USSC)
When you pay any heed to what the Wisconsin Supreme Court said about the illegitimacy of thousands of votes in the election, then I'll GAF about what USSC said here.

But you won't, so, piss off.
