Trump's last news conference was held more than 10 months ago and his one-on-one interviews with anybody but FOX have proven disastrous for him.

So, it is sound advice for Trump to have heeded when his aides told him to NOT have a news conference right before the Christmas break, as other presidents have done for decades.

It s rather interesting that, for a self-proclaimed,TV star, the NON-scripted limelight is now forbidden to Trump......But, I would readily admit that the advice of aides is a sound one. Trump cannot be trusted to speak off the cuff lest he puts his foot in his mouth.
