Trumps favorability ratings are surging

Then I guess Obama's favorability in the 70's a month after he was elected was an exercise in the American people seeing him as a leader
No it was the people having hope...remember hope for change? Hah! what a laugh he turned out to be. All BS and over substance from day one. That is why the GOP owns DC and most state houses in the nation.

You know, I'm not gonna pay attention to his favorability ratings until he's actually president. Why? Because right now it's just a poll of how people feel about Trump, not about how he's doing his job, because he's not in the job yet, not until Jan 20th.

Same thing with the stock market surging. Currently, right now, the market is reacting to people thinking that Trump is going to do great things. The true test is going to be what is the stock market going to do a month or so AFTER Trump is sworn in.

Same thing with what he's currently saying. Even though a 35 percent tariff on companies that go offshore sounds good to the average person, the GOP politicians are already starting to resist it because they know it won't be good, and could result in a trade war.

You won't pay attention to his "favorable" rating until he's President, but you will declare him a disaster now who didn't live up to his promises. That's quite intellectually rigorous of you

And he is not even President yet. The people see a leader and not a follower. They see a doer not a lazy golfer, they see a man not a wimp. They see honesty not a daily dose of dishonesty.

God Bless America! We are on the road to recovery and back on the correct track. And the democrat party as it sits today is done as a power in this nation.
Thank you Barry for being so bad at the job, Thank you Pelosi and Ried just for being you.
We won our country back! Get the oak in the BBQ and the beer in the Ice chest son we are gonna party.

Trump's favorability surges one month after election

President-elect Trump's favorability rating has increased significantly since his victory last month, and most voters now believe the incoming Republican president will deliver on his promises to reform healthcare and other issues, a new poll shows.

Forty-five percent of voters in the latest George Washington University battleground poll said they have a positive opinion of the president-elect, marking a 9-point increase from mid-October. The percentage of voters who continue to view Trump negatively has declined 12 percentage points – 61 to 49 percent – in the same period.

CBS News: 48 Percent of Republicans Don’t Want Obamacare to Be Repealed

Surprisingly, a CBS News poll released this week shows that Republicans don’t necessarily want to see Obamacare get repealed.

Of the Republicans polled, only 52 percent said they want to repeal the Affordable Care Act. This is down from 69 percent before the election. Also, 24 percent of Republicans now say they just want to see the law scaled back, compared to 11 percent who said the same thing before the election.

Overall, only about 26 percent of all voters said the law should be completely repealed, while a plurality of voters – 30 percent – want to see it expanded. Nineteen percent said it should be kept the same, and 17 percent said it should be scaled back.

Finally, 42 percent of those polled said that Republicans should wait to repeal the Affordable Care Act until they have a replacement plan. This stands in contrast to Republicans’ current plan to immediately repeal the law and then work on a replacement.

Democrat Party already has panties in a wad trying to name the theme for their next national convention. Pretty close, just now between "Circle Jerk" and "Round Pound". The latter seems in the lead as it has a sort of internationalist (globalist) sound to it.....

I haven't declared him a disaster at anything yet. He's not in the WH, and as of yet has no real impact on this country until Jan 20th.

I HAVE said that based on the things he's said, as well as some of the appointments that he's made, it makes me worry a bit. Especially with some of the choices like Flynn and Carson.

If I wrote down the hysteria now list based on the election so far, you'd be in the first pass

Your math is askew because you ignored the number within the 48% that want the ACA changed so it can work. Because for most it's not working and Obama is leaving office without lifting a finger to fix it. What does that say to you?

It says that the right has worked hard to block any efforts he made , no matter how much it might have helped the country. Nobody said the ACA was perfect, but the GOP had no desire to fix the parts that could have been fixed.

Trump better enjoy it while he can

New Presidents always enter with high favorability ratings...then reality settles in

I agree and I'm sure you are hoping that reality is a mess.

Me. I'm hoping reality is jobs and a great economy.

Trump is the guy who can get things done.

Liberals wait on CNN and MSNBC for instructions on countering this obvious lie!

Stop it! Obama had both houses when Pelosi crammed this damn bill down Americas throat. He didn't even read it. If it harmed the GOP and "changed" the nation he wanted it. Never read the damn bill.
