Trump’s mass deportation machine: He’ll create an American police state equal to Nazi Germany

Donald Trump’s pledge this week to speedily deport “anyone who has entered the United States illegally” would require the creation of a vast police state that harkens back to the early 20th century, with Nazi Germany’s roundups and deportations of millions of Jews and others deemed undesirable.

“Under my administration, anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of our country and back to the country from which they came,” Trump blared. “And you can call it deported if you want. The press doesn’t like that term. You can call it whatever the hell you want. They’re gone.”

Lets just grant them citizenship! We don't need this shit.

There will be no need. Once we start enforcing laws and making criminals do jail time instead of mass releases, they will get the message and go back themselves and they will stop coming over in such masses.

For the confirmed retarded on USMB...
The Jews in Germany were CITIZENS, they WEREN'T trespassers.
WTF? What idiots were saying that Jews were illegal immigrants?

Can the left get any more stupid?
Yes.
How can they get more stupid than that?

I ask with trepidation because God sometimes demonstrates to us the things that we think impossible.

I feel libtards are on the precipice of a Stupidity Singularity.

There are a plethora of people who will rack their brains for years trying to fabricate "facts" rather than deal with reality.
We see it on both sides of the aisle.

Are we going to invade other nations and build concentration camps in those nations and make those people slaughter "illegal immigrants"?

If not, then the comparison to Nazi Germany is absolutely moronic and used by those with simple minds.

Obviously, you never read anything about assimilation into our country and how immigration was stopped for a period of years so immigrants could assimilate into our way of life......instead of overwhelming it.

“We found that to remove all undocumented immigrants in two years, the federal government would need to increase federal immigration apprehension workers from 4,844 to 90,582, immigration detention personnel from 5,203 to 53,381, federal immigration attorneys from 1,430 to 32,445, and immigration courts from 58 to 1,316,” its 2016 analysis continued. “In addition, the number of immigration detention beds would need to increase from 34,000 to 348,831 and to physically transport all undocumented immigrants out of the country the government would need to charter a minimum of 17,296 flights and 30,701 bus trips each year.”

And unless Trump is planning on amending the Constitution to repeal the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, his ‘mass deportation’ scheme is a ridiculous non-starter.

Money that would be well spent.

..

“We examined what it would take to execute Donald Trump’s promise to remove all undocumented immigrants in just two years,” American Action Forum reported. “We detailed current immigration enforcement operations and estimated exactly how large each component of the enforcement process would have to be in order to accomplish this task.”

Needless to say the cost alone to increase the size and scope of each component of the enforcement process would render it impossible to ‘remove’ 11 million undocumented immigrants in just two years; indeed, it would take decades to adjudicate each of the 11 million cases of those undocumented.

Not to mention the fact that not all undocumented immigrants are from Mexico, that it would be impossible to return many undocumented immigrants to their country of origin, that undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as small children do not speak the language of their birth country, where it would be inhumane and cruel to force them to ‘return’ to a country that is alien to them, and that a significant number of undocumented immigrants are in fact entitled to refugee or asylee status, where returning them to their country of origin would constitute a human rights violation.

Comprehensive immigration reform is the only rational, appropriate, and Constitutional course of action – not Trump’s moronic ‘plan’ of bigotry, ignorance, fear, and hate.

Amazing what happens when current laws are not enforced.

Since we seem to be able to choose what Federal Laws to enforce, can we choose not to pay taxes?

There are Federal Laws on the books.

Enforcing Federal law is not Nazism. If the laws were enforced in the first place, there would be no need to even discuss deportation.
Wrong.

Federal laws are being enforced, deportations are at record levels.

The issue of undocumented immigration is complex and multifaceted, involving much more than just law enforcement and the judicial process.

Complex problems cannot be ‘fixed’ with naïve, simplistic ‘solutions,’ such as Trump’s idiotic ‘plan.’

Not to mention the entire economy would crash.

All those jobs suddenly vacant. Ones Republicans are either unqualified for or unable or unwilling to do.

Remember, there are 5.8 million open jobs right now as I write this. Why aren't Republicans filling those jobs?

Not all of them are being enforced.

When was the last time anyone heard of a corporation or business being prosecuted for hiring an undocumented person?

We don't have a problem with undocumented workers.

We have a problem with criminal corporations and businesses. They're criminals because they're breaking the law when they hire an undocumented worker.

If the Americans who are exploiting undocumented workers were held to the laws of our nation, there would be very few to deport.

I agree, deportations have skyrocketed. While leaving minor legal American citizens without their parents.

A lot of people won't have food either.

The price of food will skyrocket due to short supply.

When undocumented workers aren't here to pick the crops, food rots.

crackdown on illegal workers rots crops - Google Search

The truth is, even if he were elected, he'll never do the mass deportation thing that he originally ran on.

What's chilling is that Trump built up the bulk of his following from people who really believed his original extremist positions.

First off, many of us would volunteer, part-time, unpaid, to help fix the problem.

Secondly, the quicker fix is not to deport them, but rather execute them on the spot and burn the bodies.
