Religion has no place in Government. Morality, yes. Religion, No. Just as Government has no place in Religion.

Then again I don’t believe organized Religion has any appropriate place in public society at all. Keeping behind locked doors and between consenting adults, just like sexuality.

There is no ban on practicing religion in the U.S. anywhere. Even in DC there are churches for Congress. That being said, there is NO 'Church of America' which is the way the Founders wanted it. You cannot constitutionally limit churches to stay 'behind doors.'
