Trump's Taxes

I'm curious how someone so ignorant could be a moderator.

Look dickhead, you and I have different concepts of what charitable giving is. Giving it to a government department is not in keeping with mine. The government does not even consider it charitable giving, probably why Trump did not try to take it off his taxes.

That actually surprises me most wealthy people give the charities so they can take it off their taxes. You would think trump would have a lot of charitable donations just for that purpose.

This is why enemy democrats wanted the tax returns. It was never to find crimes.
Trump paid no taxes because he’s a bad ‘businessman’ – due to Trump’s incompetence he loses money on everything: golf clubs, casinos, fake ‘universities,’ and other people’s money; reported losses that warrant Trump a tax break.

All of which makes sense given the fact that Trump was just as bad a ‘president.’

All that does is prove your ignorance of tax law. This is not at all surprising. You frequently bellow before having a clue as to the facts.

You should learn that giving to a charity lowers your TAXABLE INCOME. It does NOT reduce the taxes paid dollar for dollar. For that to happen, one would have to receive a tax CREDIT for every dime donated to charity.

Why don't you know that or are you simply feigning ignorance?

IF President Trump is such a "bad businessman", how then is he a multi-billionaire? He got really lucky, right?

The never ending Trump obsession is amusing. In a sick perverse libtarded way.

Let’s have our DC team check in. Is Brandon still President? Hasn’t he been for the past two years?

:laughing0301:
The only Trump "obsession" comes from his diehard supporters who seem unwilling to view him objectively when presented with 'evidence' that his self-serving description of himself as a businessman may be inaccurate. So be it. However, when proof is offered to support the evidence against former president Trump (like 6 years of his tax returns) which prove that Trump's personal narrative was nothing more than a fiction, his supporters seem to be in a state of denial like a mother who refuses to see her criminal son as a predator. As for me, I can understand the mother of a criminal son; I can't understand the supporter of a disgraced politician.

You do understand that lowering your taxable income often DOES lower the amount of money you pay in taxes right? That's how deductions wotk.

What are you trying to say? You dribble out incoherent babble and expect me to be impressed? Read the article knucklehead. It says specifically that he donated $1.4 million to Federal Agencies like the Veterans. What did Obama donate his salary to? How about Brandon?
Trump donated all of his salary except his last year in office.

The reason he did this is because he bragged that he was very rich and promised in his campaign, that he would take no salary if elected President.

Well, apparently, it is against the law, to not pay our Presidents a salary! Who would have think it? :dunno:

The reason being, they don't want presidents looking elsewhere for money....through possible crooked means or from foreign entities.....via using presidential or government power....

Anyway.... Because our government by law, has to pay our President, our government paid president Trump his salary....

So then president Trump took his paycheck, and donated it to different govt agencies or charity towards military or veterans injured etc....

"Donald Trump insisted in response to a question during a 2020 presidential debate with Joe Biden that he closed down his bank account in China before his first campaign. But six years of Trump’s tax records released Friday reveal that wasn’t true."

He still had accounts until at least 2017.

"Trump, who had accounts in a number of countries and also collected income from more than a dozen foreign nations while in office, paid more in taxes in 2020 to the Chinese government than he did in American federal income tax that year, his returns revealed."

And he paid more tax to China than federal income tax in the US.... for whatever that's worth.

The New York Times reported, and get this, rightly, that Trump paid $750 in Federal Income Tax in 2016.

"Trump also lied a month earlier to then-Fox News commentator Chris Wallace, who pointedly asked him during the first presidential debate in 2020 if he paid only $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017,"
Trump's response was "Trump angrily responded — twice — that he had paid “millions of dollars.”"

Lies, and more lies, because, I'd guess, he didn't think he'd get caught, or hoped to put it off for some much time that it wouldn't matter. Well, I guess he never thought he'd be running in 2024.
