Like the old saying goes, that turtle didn't get there by himself. Very curious response from McConnell about the NYTimes treachery on "Special Report" last night. Baier asked him repeatedly for his opinion of the suppposed "op-ed" from a White House "insider" but the Turtle would have nothing to do with it. Said he "hadn't seen it" and "had no comment on it". When pressed he continued to avoid the subject, saying only that Congress has been doing a good job. Baier's bullshit-sniffer kicked in and he asked McConnell about working with Trump and got this flabbergasting answer: "He's been interested in OUR ideas about tax cuts and regulations". Huh? When has anything of the sort happened before Trump? He also said Trump was getting any Wall money in this spending package and there wouldn't be a shutdown over it.....really Mitch? says who?...you? It doesn't stretch the imagination much to wonder, if there has been a "sleeper cell" inside the WH, if that cell doesn't go by the name of Elaine Chao, the Turtle's wife, daughter of a Chinese shipping magnate, who may well have put that Turtle on the fence post.

BTW, an "op-ed" in a seditious commie rag like the NYTimes would be supporting Trump, not this cheap-ass stunt either real or imagined. "Op-Ed" is a newspaper term for opposing the editor". Back to Elaine Chao....her father's dowry to the couple was "between five and twenty million dollars"....if that didn't buy influence with the Majority Leader what was it for? Turtle getting nervous about the tariffs on China? Turtle's ear-piece on the Cabinet acting out on her own? Is the NYTimes ready to go to court to protect their "source" for this blatant treason?

Sorry to drift on an otherwise interesting topic, I just have to add the McConnell looks even MORE disturbing and scary seen smiling here than the other 99% of the times when he's not! I have to ask, would YOU take candy from this man?

Interesting that Woodward's book based on innuendos, rumors, fabrications and lies comes out about the same time as a fabricated "editorial" alleged to have been written by an "informant" deep in the White House. How long are we going to have to put up with "leaks" and unverified information from unidentified sources?

Trump has the FBI and CIA at his disposal....why not POLYGRAPH every damn one of them? There are ways to beat a lie-detector but it's difficult. Deception can't be used in a criminal case but it sure could flush out whoever is behind this bullshit...if there is anybody behind it and not just another fake-out from the Fake News merchants.
