The whole reparations thing is a non-starter because it's quite clearly unconstitutional. And the Dems know it. They just bring it up to trick poorly educated blacks who don't know that into voting for them. And they've been getting away with it for decades. As Malcolm X astutely observed, blacks who vote Democrat are political chumps.

You also mention illegal immigration. Trump will continue to make it a major issue in the 2020 election, just like he did in 2016, because of the growing importance of the Hispanic vote. Hispanic Americans are sick of being victimized by illegal immigrants.

Thee are so many common sense obvious things that could help immigration that it makes me grind my teeth. Closing loopholes on overstaying visas and punishing people who hire illegaly would be an obvious start. Right now it seems Democrats are doing everything they can to prevent any progress on immigration. They don't want to risk future votes or give Trump a victory on anything successful through Congress. While I don't think the Rinos care about the issue, it would seem passing something minor and obvious would be politically popular for them right now. The biggest farce to me is that neither party wants to talk about holding American employers more accountable for hiring illegals. That's the main draw.
