She was climbing through the broken window. But you know this.
Then how did she fall in the hallway and die there?

You expect her to still be hanging there?
Because she was in the hallway separated by a window
No imminent threat and all the properly trained.....
You disregard what warrants lethal responsesWell, we are making progress, Pilgrim.
At least you are no longer insisting she was shot while on her belly.
I, for one, am proud of your growing awareness.
ps....do us all a favor though, mentor poor Ray that the wounded woman didn't fall into the Speaker's Lobby because ....well, because the force of the kinetic energy of the bullet pushed her back through the breach and onto the floor of the MAGA mob-side she just leaped from. Thanks.
Not hardly.This was a Protest.......
The cowardly pussy was unprepared and unqualified for what he had to do. And all those Other armed officers inside and outside-No One Else Shot Anybody!
The entire synopsis of yourposition is that during this day of protest that crawling through a window gets you shot. Plain pure and simple. No questions asked and no repercussionsNot hardly.
Your "protest" incorporated steel rods, observed and confiscated firearms, crowbars, high-strength MACE, high-voltage lasers, Kevlar vests-gloves-kneepads-helmets.
So, your 'protest' was an intended assault, a prepared-for assault.
And such it proved to be. And all of those officers with linked communications in their earpieces were being alerted to "Officer down" calls, to urgent instructions from fellow officers that they were being flanked, "We've lost the line", that fellow officers were in danger and further assaults were ongoing and imminent.
In short, the context, the reality, and the portent of what was happening in the Speaker's Lobby and on the other side of that purpose-built barricade was dire. Dire to the extreme.
We know that because we could see the violence employed by the mobsters to get to those officers on the other side, to get to the House Chamber, to get to our elected Representatives. Those MAGA-mobsters weren't destroying that barricade to get to the loo on the other side. They were doing it to cause harm. That was evident via the earpiece comms, and the obvious anger and epithets from the mobsters. Hell, there is clear video of Babbitt herself screaming angrily at the officers.
It was, I quite agree, NOT a tea and cookies party. It was a violent confrontation with extreme danger clear and present.
Two comments:
For an "unprepared" officer....he had the presence of mind to shoot accurately (one shot, one hit) with no other ricochet or wounding.
He had the presence of mind to know that blunting the tip-of-the-spear, that stopping the advance-guard, the point-man.....was needed to clearly, emphatically, deliver the message to the assembled mob waiting to get through the breach that their continuing violent advance could cause them grave harm.
I quite agree with Speaker McCarthy. The officer did his job. And for that America can be....must be....grateful.

Ah yes, the window.
The window that was now not a window because it had been violently smashed, destroyed, and removed by the mob that the now deceased attacker chose to lead through the resulting breach, acting as their tip-of-the-spear?
THAT window?
The one deep inside the Capitol Building?
The window that was part of a purpose constructed barrier to protect our Representatives?
THAT window?
Son, you are trying too hard here.
Give it up.
You are confused by 'buildings'.
You are confused by whether a window exists or not.
You are confused about why live Ashli ended up as dead Ashli.
And you are confused about the investigation of the officer that stopped (stopped cold) the violent rioter charging through the just opened breach to attack the assembled Representatives in the House Chamber.
And importantly, you are confused as to how effectively the officer's decision thus stopped and forced the retreat of the rest of the violent mob.
Ray, you are trying to hard here.
And still not getting it.
You can be better.
Trust me.
You forgot to include the link supporting your allegation. It's you punk ass, white boys with a gun that are killing the cops.
I sure do,, you blow their ass away so bad even their momma cant recognize them,,Do people feel they reserve the right to shoot someone breaking into your home?
I sure do,, you blow their ass away so bad even their momma cant recognize them,,
in a just world their bodies should be dumped in a land fill so nobody knows what happened to them,,
she was in a public building that she not only helped pay for but as a military person devoted her life too defending and not a private home you stupid inbred fuck,,Oddly for many that doesn't apply to Ashli.
