This isn't a rare move at all. The emails are not being made public but given to the judge to review. It happens every day.

Uh..well that's ass backwards wrong.Another fishing expedition in the works since there have been ZERO indications of laws being violated
Trump is guilty. He should have been removed. I don't care what the lawyers paid to defend him said. That's their job. I do care what the witnesses said, including two that Trump fired for testifying.
The cookie lady has lost it.I watched the hearing. All of it. They had plenty of evidence. Closing your eyes to it does not make it go away. You should be defending America, not a miserable political agenda. America stands by the strength of her leaders. A leader that abuses his authority the way Trump has is not only an embarrassment, it leaves the obvious question: What ELSE is he up to? He has the morals of a sewer rat and only another sewer rat can't see that.Of course I do. And everyone knew it was going to be the case. Fox admitted it, every single conservative admitted it--they knew that no matter what Trump did, they had no intention of convicting him.Which we knew before it happened was going to be the case in the Republican held Senate. It was a totally partisan acquittal and means nothing to justice. He released the funds when he'd been caught red handed. I'm not overly impressed. What the committee wants is the evidence that Trump withheld it and why. If Trump was not withholding the money until he got Zelensky's cooperation, he's got nothing to worry about, does he?This is interesting.
The trump administration is trying to violate the FOIA law. They're using very flimsy excuse for it too.
It will be interesting to see how this works out.

A federal judge in Washington, D.C. has ordered the White House to turn over 20 emails directly relating to President Donald Trump’s decision to withhold congressionally appropriated military aid from Ukraine. The administration has refused to produce the communications thus far, claiming the documents are protected from public release by executive privilege.
A decision he changed in a few weeks, fully complying with the Congressionally Appropriated Military Aid package (with additional military hardware) within the Fiscal year of its passage. You guys are running on nothing..... as usual.

Of course, it's entirely possible that Trump is crafty enough to keep any such admission out of an email. In his private business he forbade email communication (kind of unusual, don't you think?). But not all of those emails were from him. Did others know to hide what was going on? Hopefully we will find out.
Wasn't there already a failed impeachment attempt about this?
Yeah, there was, I remember now.
President Trump was totally vindicated and acquitted.
You may not know what Partisan means.
And, no matter the fact that the House had, and produced no evidence, the Democrats were going to bring charges.
You worry about the members in your shithole party before you worry about others.
Absolutely delusional.
Innocent people frequently don’t get convicted. Obsessive people maintain the not found guilty really are guilty because they feel it and want it.Of course I do. Actually you're guilty of TDS repeat offender.

It will be tied up in the courts a long long time. No worries.
So, you're pretty much admitting the evidence is very damning for Trump, which is why you're very glad it will be hidden for a while longer.
Even the Trump cultists are very aware of the Trump admin's guilt. That's why they all fight so hard to hide all the evidence. The Trump cultists act guilty as sin, hence everyone correctly assumes they are guilty as sin.
The funny part is that this was the same crowd that said, during impeachment "LET THE VOTERS LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE AND DECIDE", and now they're all saying "HIDE THE EVIDENCE FROM THE VOTERS!". If it weren't for double standards, the Trump cultists would have no standards at all.

You're right. Every blessed Republican in the House opposed the Articles of Impeachment. It was the first time a President was impeached with no votes by his own party. They may have said let the voters see the evidence and decide but they sure did all they could to prevent evidence from being seen.
trump and the republicans blocked evidence, documents, emails, and witnesses in both the House investigation and the Senate trial.
This is just a continuation of their obstruction and corruption.
So you assume there was no legitimate reason to investigate Joe?
