You would think that when your party is burying a hole that is getting harder and harder to get out of, you wouldn't want to that hole get deeper faster. But here is Kathleen Murphy, Democrat running for the House of Delegates against Barbara Comstock, telling a forum in Great Falls that she believes it should law to force doctors to accept Medicare and Medicaid patients. Forced by government decree, mind you.

The reaction by democrats to all this, of course, will be to make it illegal for doctors to quit. And that will sooner or later be enforced at gunpoint, because force is the only tool that socialists really understand since they operate in total ignorance of the mechanisms of the free market and informed consumer choice. With Obama and the democrats, it’s always “Mandate! Mandate! Mandate!” even if it means assigning a government paramilitary worker to hold a pistol to the head of every doctor across America to make them see patients against their will.

No. What will happen is that the government will just pull the licenses of doctors who refuse to take obamacare patients. They will be unable to practice medicine. If they do, they will be arrested and prosecuted for practicing medicine without a license. If the doctor resists arrest, he will be treated like any other criminal resisting arrest.

The government HAS to do this or doctors will not accept obamacare patients. They are already not taking obamacare patients. They are finding other ways, like going to a concierge practice. The government will offer doctors the option of becoming salaried doctors working for the government. Hospitals who refuse obamacare will be taken over by the government. Slowly the whole medical system will be government run.

1. you're a gun guy, you want everyone - well, everyone you approve of - to be armed all the time. So, why worry about the black helicopters, Doctors can take care of themselves. Hell, some might even be members of your cell - oops, militia;
