UN stands with US

Putin clled a Russian Security Council meeting on 24 hours notice, held TODAY:

On Tuesday, July 22nd, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting of the Russian Security Council. The meeting will focus on ensuring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Russia, the press service of the Kremlin reports.

"On July 22, 2014, under the chairmanship by Russian President Putin, the meeting of the Security Council will be held to consider a range of issues related to ensuring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Russian Federation," the message from the press service of the Kremlin says.

Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev will deliver a report at the meeting, Interfax reports.

Obvious reasons.

They're going to invade the Ukraine ?

Once again, the Russian Federation already voted TODAY, on a resolution demanding answers from the separatists; Putin, if he has the brains that led him up the ladder in KGB, will sacrifice the separatists for the good of the Russian economy. Russians are placing flowers and notes of condolence at Dutch embassies.

Meh, the Russians don't walk away from their allies so quickly as we do.

I think he will 'punish' some of the leaders, let things die down, and then return them all to power as before.

Spot on!

Many in Britain are uneasy with Cameron's stance. Note the poster said England not Britain.

And the Brits know full well that Cameron is Obama's poodle. His adviser is Jim Messina for crying out loud.

As a matter of fact all hell's breaking loose for old Dave at the moment. Looks good on the bastard.

Russia could down a US passenger plane, and the focus would shift to Obama for some quasi-Americans.

Meh, not most conservatives or TPM types, though with Obama there is a certain 'The drunk fell into the gutter again' kind of expectation of inevitable disaster these days.

They are not listening to Putin, two more Ukraine aircraft just shot down; Putin cannot control them.

What Putin says and what he does-----

I don't have the time to look it up --what did JFK or others say to Kruschev to convince him to 'cooperate'--certain Reagan said or did something. So---once again--

Putin cannot convince the Russian people not to apologize, why would anyone believe the separatists/terrorists would listen to him?

Both were legit military targets this time, no?

It is the civilian shoot down that was and still is fubared

If one supports the Soviet Putin, perhaps; in any case, evidence of what group shot down the PASSENGER PLANE. A four & a half day lull, the Russian separatists start killing again.

Not supporting Putin, but international laws and the ethic of warfare. It used to mean something.

Any military plane is a legit target. No civilian plane is. If they fight by that dichotomy, they are way above the typical standard for these days it seems.

Conceded, but keeping attention on the separatists keeps world opinion against them.

Sounds like Arafat and the PLO...

Yes, now Hamas, ISIS, and others. Thus, the US must stand with Israel, always.
