Unemployment was higher during the Clinton & Obama years than the Bush years. Everyone knows 911 caused unemployment to skyrocket and it took till 2007 for it to stabilize, but then the Dems won Congress and the rate skyrocketed to almost 11%. According to the BLS the UE rate was 3.9% at the start of the Bush years, not 2.4%, so your OP is bullshit.

And that would jack the unemployment rate up to about 11 percent. Which, yikes.

Never the less, the figure you posted for the daily retirement number is not a constant. The number is going to be different every day; so, in effect, one day it could be 10000, the day after that 8000, and the day after that as low as 5 thousand or less. Agree?
