My understanding is that the computers in NY, California and Illinois were hacked.

If they've got evidence there's no reason to not disclose it and doubly no reason to lobby the Clinton team.

If they have solid evidence take it to the FBI or STFU.

Eta: oh, wait, it's because they don't have any such evidence of hacking, as per the op's own article:
