Up to 1.7 Million Unauthorized Immigrant Youth May Benefit from New Deportation Rules | Pew Hispanic Center.

The report, "Up to 1.7 Million Unauthorized Immigrant Youth May Benefit from New Deportation Rules," authored by Jeffrey S. Passel, senior demographer, Pew Hispanic Center and Mark Hugo Lopez, associate director, Pew Hispanic Center, is available at the Pew Hispanic Center's website, Pew Hispanic Center - Chronicling Latinos Diverse Experiences in a Changing America.

I like the Dream Act.

I just think its incredibly short cited to offer amnesty without coupling it with new laws and increased penalties for those hiring illegals and those coming here/staying here illegally.

Up to 1.7 million plus the millions that will not be deported and the millions of parents of the children. Who is left? This is nothing but back door amnesty.

I agree that we need to limit future immigrants, but I like the idea of registering and taxing those that are already here more than deporting all of them.
