Indeed a very odd scene, in the end the people of the country are going to have to say "enough", who knows if they will. The neighbors of Venezuela has some influence, more than any other western nation.

The problem with more sanctions is that China and Russia ignore them.

Given the Demockracy on exhibit here I can't throw rocks at anyone else's election process.

Around 12 million voted in Venezuela and it looks like 2/3rds were disenfranchised.

14.4 million dems voted for FJB and got disenfranchised.

In 2020 we had a POTUS installed like a shitter and now in 2024 the dems kicked him to the curb and are looking to do so again by anointing someone that never received a single dem primary vote.

Which is worse?

So yeah, we need to tend to our own knitting.
