Based on his actions, I'm thinking he wasn't entirely successful in overcoming his suspicions of white people.

Considering his white mom and being raised by his "typical white grandma", I would think he would have a better perspective than blacks who had little personal contact with whites. Obama's comment about his typical white grandma was made during his campaign and indicates that he still has a habit of stereotyping white people. That is racism.

I don't see where he has overcome anything. No evolution on his attitude towards white people the way he claims to have evolved on gays. It's the left that keeps pushing the notion that whites are racist whether they know it or not and even the "good" whites are guilty of white privilege so still owe people because they were born that way. That ensures that no one is let off the hook for the wealth redistribution except those who have been permanently labeled as victims simply because of their skin color. Whatever would liberals do if they couldn't convince people they were victims in need of big brother government?
