and now I know why they seemed so familiar.

The shark is Jabberjaw. He ran from 1976 to 1978. The picture is Curly Howard who died in 1952 but even Moe died in 1975.

While somewhat based upon the Honeymooners, Barney Ruble was voiced by Mel Blanc. I imagine many of the others are wrong also.

kinda obvious Mel was channeling well known actors for some of his voices.

Maybe a different company ... but Thurston Howell III voiced Mr McGoo ... my all time favorite will always be Joan Rivers voicing Dot Matrix in Spaceballs ... "oil, oil, oil" ...

We have a moderator here who's father sounds just like Bing Crosby ... Hugh Tazmanian Devil ...
