Nope when I went to a required DEI training the speaker was a black person who twisted history and then railed and riled until every poc in the room was visibly shaking mad. Then he smirked quite proud of himself and continued on with his dog and pony show. At another required DEI meeting, a very light skinned Hispanic railed on and on about all of the ways she had been discriminated against. (A young woman already in an executive position at a financial institution) After the meeting a prominent female of color and a ranking official in our company literally said to her, in front of the whole group, "I didn't like you when I first saw you, but now that i know you are Hispanic I see you in a better light". And the fucking crowd appauded the overt racism. I haven't gone to another DEI training and I won't go to another, I'm done.Actually, I do not hate white people, especially being one myself. I have always worked hard and played by the rules and am not a criminal. I would prefer equal treatment under law for everyone. If black people lost you as an ally, I would personally question if you truly were one to begin with.
No I always wanted to help end racism in America, but what i have seen over the last 5 years makes me want to spit, and if you support BLM or the riots of 20 and 21 then you are part of the problem. A VP in my company didn't like the woman speaker because she thought she was European American. Well in a way she is, because Hispanics are of Spanish descent and what they did to the indigenous populations of south and central America was despicable. But the American wokesters don;t care about that because it doesn;t fit your agenda or your narratives. I've worked along side people of almost every religion and creed in my long life, and it was only recently that this rebirth of racial victimhood has raised its ugly head.
You can question all you like, I don;t care. The left can go slurp eggs as far as I am concerned anymore.
