Rich people say that if you take money away from them, they won't be able to create as many jobs. But what it really means is that if you take money from them, they will be stuck with getting $1000 dollar chips at the casino instead of $10,000 dollar chips. The reality in this country is that the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. And what of whatever goods and services the wealthy get. They have more money to pay for them. That puts those things even farther out of the reach of the common people. Unfortunately, the voice of the rich in this country is louder than a foghorn. But the cries of the poor are little more than a whisper.

Uh....you do realize that casino's are only able to operate because of the EMPLOYEES who were hired to keep it running. You literally just contradicted your own position by proving that even while at play, the wealthy create jobs. :lmao:

Amazing that you communists can't comprehend basic economics (which is why your policies always collapse nations).

You're confusing "riches" with "wealth".

And true wealth isn't measured in riches.

Bitches. :slap:

As example, I saw a TV segment about the CEO of McDonald's. He's paid $9 million/year. He, his wife, and the reporter toured the neighborhoods where they grew up- in abject poverty. They both described their experiences as filled with love and the reality of life. And they wouldn't trade it for anything.

Hopelessness, hunger, and despair are great teachers and motivators.

SNAP, WIC, stamps, vouchers, Affirmative Action teach.... dependence on others and not on oneself.

Entitlement replaces self-motivation with lethargy.

Self-motivators tend to be Conservative, the lethargic tend to be Liberal.

It is in the best interest of the Democrat Party to keep America lethargic.

The "war" is on rich Republicans, not "the rich".

:slap:
Mr. H.,
The war is on whoever I say it is on. Take Bill Gates. Is he republican or democrat. It doesn't matter. I saw that wealthy pile of shit sitting in front of a congressional committee and telling them that they should basically allow unlimited immigration of foreign workers. Not only that, but between him and the U.S. government, they gave over 10 million dollars to the racist Mexican group called La Raza. (The Race)

Rottweiler,
Are you high? Don't give me any of that "trickle down" shit. Besides, my mentioning casinos was more of a metaphor. Though I can give you an example that isn't a metaphor. Coal companies who remove the tops of mountains to get at coal instead of hiring miners. Also, before you start flag waving, read my thread, "Why Vote National Socialist. (nazi party)"

Mr. H.,
Some Jew once wrote a song that was a little popular some years ago. I think it was called, "It's Money That Matters." Also, it is probably the case that the more people have, the more they want. I wrote a thread that had some bearing on the whole wealth and happiness thing. You might find it interesting. It's called, "Foreigners Do It Better." Also, dont call me a bitch, bitch.

I just love thise stories people tell about how when they were children, they had to walk miles in knee high snow to get to school. Which was uphill both ways. If the McDoodles CEO and whoever else thought being poor was so wonderful, why didn't they stay poor. Also, hopelessness, hunger and despair may be great teachers, but tha last thing they are are motivators. (Especially hopelessness) Because whatever caused those things is more likely to have beaten you down too much to do anything. As for the rest of what you say, I will just let it go as the meaningless tripe that it is.

deltex1,
From the way things are going, my best bet for getting a job would be to move to China or India. Or some other poverty stricken country that the U.S. sent so many jobs. Also, according to one website, there are 101 million unemployed people in this country. So you don't even know what the fuck you're talking about.

What skills do you possess that are so unmarketable....a sociology degree?

It's simple. Stop working. Everyone who is poor just stop. One of two things will happen. The rich will figure out that the poor are needed and will raise wages to get them to work. Or, the rich will figure out that the poor are poor because they are lazy and not interested in improving their lot in life and invest in machinery to replace them.

Alternatively, instead of whining about how the MAN keeps you down, you can go to school, educate yourself, so that you have a marketable skill, and get better wages based on MERIT. Or, in your case, you can go back to sitting on your porch whistling Dixie.

Being successful is not that hard. Where did it go wrong for you? Knocked up at 13?

Don't try to make me the point. The point is the point.
