TemplarKormac,Cultsmasher threads: Worst ideas in the history of man.
The point is that you are unsuccessful...all I want to know is why.deltex1,What skills do you possess that are so unmarketable....a sociology degree?deltex1,Get a job and quit whining....Rich people say that if you take money away from them, they won't be able to create as many jobs. But what it really means is that if you take money from them, they will be stuck with getting $1000 dollar chips at the casino instead of $10,000 dollar chips. The reality in this country is that the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. And what of whatever goods and services the wealthy get. They have more money to pay for them. That puts those things even farther out of the reach of the common people. Unfortunately, the voice of the rich in this country is louder than a foghorn. But the cries of the poor are little more than a whisper.
From the way things are going, my best bet for getting a job would be to move to China or India. Or some other poverty stricken country that the U.S. sent so many jobs. Also, according to one website, there are 101 million unemployed people in this country. So you don't even know what the fuck you're talking about.
Don't try to make me the point. The point is the point.
initforme,There is no "war on the rich"... they have the golden egg at their laps and have it made. War on the rich? Laughable.

Ask that of the 101 million unemployed Americans. But don't start with me. This thread isn't about me.

Save some of that min wage and buy yourself a bullhorn.
Its getting to be time we disqualify any businessman or lawyer from running for office and let a middle class janitor run the show. Having more money should not allow one to have more political persuasion.

Are you kidding? People pay good money to be lied to. But you can hardly give the truth away for free. A bullhorn would do no good.
Uh....you do realize that casino's are only able to operate because of the EMPLOYEES who were hired to keep it running. You literally just contradicted your own position by proving that even while at play, the wealthy create jobs.
Amazing that you communists can't comprehend basic economics (which is why your policies always collapse nations).

I promise you that if you worked your ass off and became moderately wealthy you'd be singing a different tune.
As example, I saw a TV segment about the CEO of McDonald's. He's paid $9 million/year. He, his wife, and the reporter toured the neighborhoods where they grew up- in abject poverty. They both described their experiences as filled with love and the reality of life. And they wouldn't trade it for anything.
Hopelessness, hunger, and despair are great teachers and motivators.
SNAP, WIC, stamps, vouchers, Affirmative Action teach.... dependence on others and not on oneself.
Entitlement replaces self-motivation with lethargy.
Self-motivators tend to be Conservative, the lethargic tend to be Liberal.
It is in the best interest of the Democrat Party to keep America lethargic.

What you say is possible. But I wouldn't say it was a guarantee. Also, those who didn't have to lift a finger to become rich sang the same tune.

I look at it like this. Not only is it none of my business if you're rich,it's none of my business how you got that way.
The only thing you need to know is you can be rich as well if you truly want to be.

I am poor. Why would I deny it. As to the rest, as I said before, this thread isn't about me.

For the most part, there is no way to become rich without abusing other people, the environment or becoming a useless parasite. Also, in that respect, it would be people's business in general to know how a rich person became rich.
