You think an el Nino will result in a drop in the Earth's temperature?
"Even without El Niño, 2015 would have been a record warm year, but climate scientists believe El Niño was responsible for 8 percent to 10 percent of the warming. Gavin Schmidt, director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, estimated that El Niño accounted for 0.07˚C of the above average warming that occurred in 2015. Adam Scaife, head of long-range prediction at the U.K.’s Meteorological Office, expects that El Niño will contribute 25 percent of new record global temperatures in 2016."

El Niño and Global Warming—What’s the Connection?
Yes...that is exactly what I think...and I think it based on reality...the sun heats the oceans...and only the sun heats the oceans...the oceans drive the climate...the sun is quiet...and the ocean is ejecting vast amounts of energy via el ninos...how much energy that isn't being replaced do you think can be ejected that isn't being replaced because the sun has gone quiet before deep cooling begins?
And those global records are the result of data manipulation...regional temperatures don't show such records...and when none of the individual regions of earth are showing records, and the global database is, then the global database becomes suspect...if, that is, you are a thinking person.
