"We're supporting Ashers Baking Co as they face court for upholding marriage"

In the U.S. it is perfectly legal to refuse to write a message supporting gay marriage on a cake. I wonder what Ireland will do.

So those in Ireland do not enjoy some of the freedoms we do here.

Do you have a point in posting this?

Ashers - a Christian-run business - is being taken to court by the publicly-funded body after refusing to include a slogan 'Support gay marriage' on a cake ordered by a gay activist.

This is ridiculous. I was writing messages on cakes when I was a child. Order the cake, write your own message, and stop making mountains out of molehills, creating tempests in teapots, etc. People are not always going to agree. We can respect that.
