we know what Trumps plan is . even though things are tough now because of the shut down the economic strategy [lower taxes less regs better trade deals ect .... will continue to be the strategy to get our economy moving after the shutdown ends ... but what are the dems plans to stimulate the economy after the virus is gone ? what do they plan to implement to strengthen our economy after this crisis passes. what would a dem POTUS do to help the economy ?

A Democratic President would spend most of his-or-her first term reversing Rich-Guy tax-cuts and diverting the money to Small Business, most likely.

And, with any luck, he-or-she would launch a massive, nationwide initiative to rebuild a Manufacturing Base - for strategic and essential products, anyway.

I know both parties were fine with gutting manufacturing, but why would the democrats suddenly care now? It is fine to hate big business, but when have the democrats ever done anything to help small business? Most of their policies make it harder for small business to function. It is almost as if they are trying to eliminate them. Do you consider the mega programs like the Affordable Care Act to make up for the increased regulations? Have the democrats ever shown any inclination to stand up to China? Before Trump, even Republicans sold out to China. I agree to look for future energy sources, but you can't run on windmills until such technology exists. If fossil fuels could be made cleaner, would you automatically reject them? Would you borrow fuel from foreign countries after shutting down our energy sector? On education, I agree it is a mess, but we spend an outrageous amount of money per child with no results. "We will fix education" has been a mantra for decades. If anything, it has gotten worse. Finally, you can't really follow your dreams if the government takes over 50% of your income to study cow farts and the like. You can put the Walmart argument forth and hope that the promise of lower prices trumps better manufacturing jobs in the US.
Or, you can show that Trump is bringing back good paying Manufacturing jobs to the US, like the new $12b semiconductor plant in AZ. Why are they wrong? Tell me you prefer that new plant to be built in China or India?
