I was booked to see him in concert in Frankfurt some years ago. But it was cancelled at the last minute, due to illness.

Marc is still active in the music biz. He hasn't released a whole lot of studio albums throughout his recording career, which started in 1991 with his first album, which featured "Walking in Memphis". To date he's released just 7 studio albums, his last one last year, in an almost 30 year career. "Walking in Memphis" appears to be his only hit song thus far.

Sad to hear that. Let's hope he's doing OK, presently. And I would guess he IS doing OK, considering he released a studio album just last year.
