Democrat talking points are that House Republicans failed to solve the border and immigration mess by not passing the "bi-partisan" Senate Bill, as directed by Trump.

The truth is that the Senate Bill did NOT pass the Senate!! So there is no "bi-partisan" Senate Bill.

Border bill fails Senate test vote as Democrats seek to underscore Republican resistance

the bill was sponsored by langford and a bipartisan team (R OK) . included most of what conservatives want.

we could start working on it oct 1 with the fiscal year , but

trump- killed it because to trump. the border is not a crisis. it is an "issue" to beat up his opponents.

to trump, illegal immigrants are not a problem. they can mow his golf course AND scare the rubes at the same time.

I have never seen the Dems blame the House, but the GOP as a whole.

And yes, there was a "bi-partisan" Senate Bill as the bill was the result of a team of both Repubs and Dems

If they looked like Swedes would the MAGAs still be afraid of them? :)

Haha trump isn’t a member of congress. What a weird weird post

Langford voted against the "final" version.
“Today is not a bill, today is a prop,” Lankford said on the floor ahead of the vote. “Everyone sees it for what it is.”

As the OP says, the democrats are lying calling the Senate Bill "bi-partisan". It NEVER passed the Senate, there is no "Bill".

The better border Bill was House Bill HR-2.

Trump will seal the border and deport illegals. Fewer illegals means lower grocery prices.

There was ONE republican who signed onto the bill. By definition, it is then bipartisan, but like everything the left states, it is deliberately misleading the audience.

1 GOP member is not a compromise in policy.

The point of contention is that the "final" version of the Bill was "bi-partisan".

The Republican who worked on it, Sen Lankford, voted against the final version.

“Today is not a bill, today is a prop,” Lankford said on the floor ahead of the vote. “Everyone sees it for what it is.”

Senate Republicans voted against the Bill. So there is no Bill, and should be no talking point.

The only real immigration Bill is House Bill HR-2.

Yes, because Trump told them to...the whole point of the Dems talking point.
That's a whopper. You would need to prove that they listened to Trump instead of opposed the Bill on its merits.

There is nothing in the Bill that Republicans liked, nothing. Blaming Trump for not passing a shitty Bill is "lying".

It seem far more plausible than the idea they spent months creating a bill they hated.

Why would they do that?

Why would they make a bill that had nothing in it they liked?

the obvious answer, the reason they do everything.

"to pwn the libs" is the governing philosophy of a parliament of trolls.

Someone doesn’t know how engrained illegal immigrants are in the domestic food supply.

Trump can’t pass legislation to fix immigration. Congress must act. Hopefully Trump loses and his obstructionism with it.

I'm not sure what was in the Bill that Republicans liked?
1. $118b cost, when Trump's closed border and remain in Mexico is free.
2. Letting 4,999 migrants a day into the US, when Trump and HR-2 let zero in without a hearing.
3. Republicans need to insist on the House version, HR-2.
4. The additional CBP would be welcome wagon hostesses instead of enforcers showing illegals the way back to Mexico
5. Langford got played. The majority of Republicans strongly opposed the Bill.

Trump had the border perfect. Illegals were to "remain in Mexico" for their hearing.

Biden let 12,000,000 illegals into the US, including 100,000 Chinese, 50,000 Russians, thousands of criminals and terrorists, including ISIS. Biden/Harris is a National Security disaster.
