I don't know the price of gas but it's probably pretty high because the state taxes it heavily to deter non public transportation. The interstates are pretty full.

I just talked to the realtor who helped me buy the home I bought in the lovely red state of South Dakota a little over a year ago. In the time since I moved here from WA state, he has worked with 20 families from WA, OR and CA. How many other realtors must there be in a city of 200,000 people? I know there are over 50 realtors in the group he works for. That's a buttload of West Coasters moving to the southeast corner of SD. Plenty of room for more as well.
