In Matthew 24:36

Jesus states:

“As for the exact day and hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. For as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man."

In Isaiah 54: God states:

This for me is like the days of Noah.
Just as I swore that the waters of Noah
would never again flood the earth,

so I have sworn that I never will be angry with you
and that I will never rebuke you.
Although the mountains may be shaken
and the hills may totter,
my steadfast love will not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace will never be shaken,
says the Lord who has compassion on you.

Is the coming of the Son of Man a reminder that God's covenant of peace with mankind will never be shaken?

Genesis 9:

God said to Noah and his sons, “As for me, I will establish my covenant with you and your descendants after you, with every living creature along with you—the birds, tame and wild animals, and with all the animals which left the ark. I will establish my covenant with you: never again will all living creatures be cut off by the waters of a flood, nor will the earth be laid waste by a flood again.”

God said, “This will be a sign of the covenant that I establish between me and you and every living creature for all generations.

I will place my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I gather the clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds. I will remember my covenant between me and you and with every living creature of every kind, that water and flood shall never again destroy all flesh. The rainbow will be in the clouds and I will look upon it and remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is found upon the earth.”

God said to Noah, “This is a sign of the covenant that I am establishing between myself and every creature upon the earth.”

Only the Father knows because only the Father is God.
Jesus compared these last days to Noah's day( 99.9% mislead) That is what Jesus meant--you see he said-the world took no note=99% minimum today mislead to walk the broad and spacious path that leads to destruction.

Could it be that they are misled because they believe that the "coming of the Son of Man" will lead to destruction instead of what God promised in Genesis and later spoke through the prophet Isaiah?

We may not know the day or the hour but we can know that the time is close at hand by the signs of the times.

At that time, before the flood, the "sons of God" (angels) mixed with the daughters of men, which created the Nephilim.

When Jesus said "As it was in the days of Noah"....it has to be something that was specific to that time. So it couldn't be other things like homosexuality or violence, because those things have been around since time immemorial and aren't specific to that one time period.

So....crazy as this may sound...I think it has to do with the fallen angels mixing with humans, just as it was in the days of Noah.

What I know, is that westernized Christian Charlatans have been making a lot of money on end times propaganda by trying to predict and assign very specific, allegorical and metaphorical scriptures from the OT and NT to some future characters and dates creating substantiated claims and creating theological absurdities that simple minded Christians latch onto.

Mankind, and the earth itself, will be as corrupt as in the days of Noah.

Jesus assures-FEW will find the road that leads off into life. He is not wrong.

“As for the exact day and hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. For as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man."

the parable of noah is the reaffirmation of the religion of antiquity - the triumph of good vs evil - for judgement and admission to the everlasting.

that will occur for humanity with the death of the last of one or the other, the judgement will be for those remaining who are similarly the same in triumph - they or the last to parish will be granted their admission.

is when the conclusion will occur.

"Judge not" UNLESS you're an atheist judging Christians. I'm not as cynical. Most believe what they believe and sincerely teach what they believe. Just noticed the many opinions of anyone on this forum.

Most sincerely believe because the "Most" take no time to question incredible claims. The man or woman behind the. pulpit is a "man/woman of god" and teaching from "the Bible", who dares question them?

Having been deep into the westernized denominational version of Christianity drove me to those questions, and in fact it didn't drive me from "faith" or spirituality, but rather that most of modern Christianity has been abused, masked, paraded by many of the larger denominations and is now far away from the "Christ" like, NT Gospels.

Which is why they, you, and me need Jesus to free us from being slaves to sin.

Angels don't "marry".

Matthew 22:
30 "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."

The context is sexual relations.
