I was going to say something very similar to him... so thank you for saying pretty much what I was going to say.

I didn't grow up in a Christian home. In the past, I never thought I'd be a Christian one day. But here I am. Best decision I ever made.

He also doesn't seem to realize that there are millions of Christians in other parts of the world, that are not considered to be "Christian countries."

God can reach anyone, anywhere.

Since this conversation, it got me to thinking of going back to church......well, tonight I finally went to Saturday evening mass at a local Catholic church. It went well.......and no the church didn't fall down.....atleast not while I was there.

That's fantastic, I'm so happy to hear that!! Btw....I hope you don't mind me saying this, but when I read your post #107 where you mentioned that you went to a couple different types of churches, but then you stopped going because of something that happened at one of the churches... I was going to suggest trying a bible-based non-denominational church. I know that everyone has different ideas about denominations, but I think the most important thing is to find a church with sound biblical teaching and one that's 'alive' and Spirit-led.

In any event, it's great to hear that this discussion got you thinking about going back to church. And I'm glad it didn't fall down. Thanks for telling me. blessings!
