What If The Gop Took Over Government?

"What If The Gop Took Over Government?"

The last time the GOP 'took over' government – 2001 to 2007 – we were left with two failed, illegal wars, bigger, more intrusive government, and a large budget deficit.

It's easy to understand why most don't want to see a republican 'takeover' of government again.

certainly not people who suck on the government teat or want guns banned

if Bush has lost, Heller never would have happened because DEMS only appoint Justices who vote the way the party wants

And NaziCons don't?
why do collectivist twits like you constantly talk about NAZIS

you are much closer to being a NAZI then us free market pro individual rights libertarians

If 10 or more of the above questions were generally answered "YES" then there may be hope for the USA under GOP leadership!!

You can't get any meaningful info from "yes or no" questions. What is this, a courtroom? This is the real world and real world problems require real world answers, not yes or nos to a bunch of leading questions, when the real answer is "maybe".

Roberts voted against his party on ACA. all four Dems for it

the Dem appointees voted against gun rights both times

Roberts and Alito, BOTH Bush appointees, have voted the same on nearly EVERYTHING. Look it up!

Roberts voted in favor of ACA because he is CHIEF JUSTICE. And his partisan views must EVENTUALLY give way to the constitution. Or he might as well order the parchment delivered to him so he can piss on it.

You're right, libertarians a more like rose-colored glasses wearing hippies. Sure their philosophy sounds good, but like the Marxists, they don't seem to get that without a basic shift in human nature, it just won't work. You say all you want about how being "free" would be better, but anyone with half a brain realizes there are many in the world that would take advantage of the weak in such a laissez-faire system

your understanding of the constitution appears to be idiotic. what Roberts wanted to do was to reject the idiotic Commerce Clause crap that FDR and his pet monkeys spewed but also to both punish the voters and to pretend he is some sort of Solomon.

the ACA is unconstitutional and Scalia was right

tell me what DEM appointee has BUCKED major Dem policies

80 years the Democrats have created a public teat that lots of weak minded americans have become addicted to

Seems to me like you made up some bullshit to make yourself feel better and didn't address anything I said.

What if America's Federal Government became 100% GOP/Republican? Please answer yes or no to the following questions to determine if a mainstream, GOP government would benefit Americans and America's traditional values:
1) Would we see a completely sealed and protected southern border? YES or NO
2) Would abortion be banned? YES or NO
3) Would we cancel our Global Trade Treaties and put America's economy first? YES or NO
4) Would the question of legalized "gay marriage" be answered with a big, fat NO once and for all? YES or NO
5) Would we stop doing the bidding of the United Nations and Israel? YES or NO
6) Would we see a reduction in the Welfare State? YES or NO
7) Would open Bible reading and prayer be "legalized" in public schools? YES or NO
8) Would we see incentives given to businesses to produce and thrive in the USA? YES or NO
9) Would we cease to be the world's Police Officers and start respecting the sovereignty of other, independent nations? YES or NO
10) Would we cease caving in to pressure from liberal institutions like the ACLU or Labor Unions? YES or NO
11) Would illegal aliens remain ILLEGAL and be deported to their respective nations? YES or NO
12) Would a completely GOP government be much different that our current DEM government? YES or NO
If 10 or more of the above questions were generally answered "YES" then there may be hope for the USA under GOP leadership!!
1) Yes. Racism thrives in the GOP.
2) Yes. Religion comes before women's rights.
3) Republicans puts corporate interests before the benefit of the country as a whole.
4) Big fat no is right. Bigotry thrives in the Republican Party.
5) Israel comes before many American interests.
6) huge reduction for the poor. Children would starve because wages would either remain flat or decrease. Corporate welfare would thive.
7) Not necessarily.
8) Corporate interests come before the country as a whole. If corporations wanted to send jobs overseas, republicans would allow it.
9) That's hard to say. It would depend.
10) yes
11) all would be deported
12) Yes, the country would suffer

The GOP have no viable plans to improve our economy besides corporate welfare.
You do realize your claims are mere perceptions, do you not?
The problem you face is you are contributing to the very divisiveness with which you label all who are non liberal.

Would you get Bitch-Slapped for creating such a thread?

Yes or Yes?

:slap:

We have a one party system.

Just say'in.

Sorry to rain on your GOP parade to no where.
And just where has the Donkey Party paraded this nation for the last six years?

:slap:

Two Bitch-Slaps tonight. You're on a roll.

The Donkey Party has led us to the exact same place.

That's the beauty of it.

Not true. If true, things would be worse, not better. And they are better, in spite of the GOP attempting to block everything to punish the country for electing a black president.
"And they are better"?

You are a spook of the highest degree.

A clear and presently dangerous deranged mind.

Your head exists in the bowels of the deepest recesses of a municipal water treatment plant.

Where the bottom sludge of feces and urine collect.

Now republicans are telling voters none of that will happen again, they'll get it right this time, just give them a second chance.

Most ?

Are you not aware that the GOP is odd-on favorite to win back the senate ?

Most ?

Your bubble world is about to POP.

Who voted for the Patriot Act, the NDAA, the NSA crap?

That's right, the GOP AND the DNC.

Obama's acceptance of the Patriot Act is unforgivable. That's the problem with voting for the lesser of two evils. Your avie is awesome btw

It's a moot point now. I'm no fan of the Patriot Act, nor of Homeland Security, nor of redneck cops getting their hands on war zone combat vehicles. But the fact of the matter is, most Americans supported such institutions and the militarization of domestic police after 9/11, and it saw both sides of the aisle united as they rarely ever are.

That support of the Patriot Act and of Homeland Security waned over the years, but with the world situation as volatile as it is, many Americans, especially women, are very concerned about the possibility of domestic terrorism. That's the voter base of the democratic party who're abandoning the party at a steady clip, soccer moms out there in suburbia who write $1000 campaign contribution checks, and who go to the trouble to vote.

They perceive Obama the way the entire planet perceives Obama now, as an indecisive weakling. Women want strength in charge at times like this, not a man who projects weakness. If the democrats lose the senate in November, they have nothing more to blame than their failing political ethos of provincialism, and the sock puppet they put up top.
