Prometheus? Really? I liked the movie, but its not one of the best.

I Robot...but I'm not much of a sci- fi fan. I've never understood all the hype over Star Wars...to me its just "eh".

I plan on watching Interstellar tonight. It does look like a good movie.

The older Star Wars movies are definitely up there somewhere on my list. I read a lot of science fiction books, but I don't really watch many scf-fi movies.

Predator was definitely one of my favorites. I find it funny that two of it's stars ended up governors of a state.

My brother is a huge fan of Forbidden Planet. He jokes about having a DVD player in his casket, wired to a solar panel on his headstone.
I told him "put it in your Will, and we will make it so".

I think 2001 is in a class of its' own. Terminator was ground breaking, more visual than substantive like most new movies. I like district 9 because it was so off beat and different.

I think it depends on when you saw it.
I saw it, in the theatre in 1977. I was 12. I was awestruck.
You have to remember what movies were at that time. There was no CGI, no superfantastic special effects. So, for it's time it was a big first.
