What is the difference between a wall and a border?

A border is a legally constructed thing that keeps people in opposing countries from crossing into each other's country. A wall is a physical object that keeps people in opposing countries from crossing it. What is the difference between a wall and a border since they both do the exact same thing?

What an idiotic post!
But you're known for these.
A "border" is a fucking line drawn on a fucking map!
There are millions of miles of 'borders' that anyone can walk across.
A 'wall' physically prevents people from entering a country illegally.
Fucking grow up!

Doesn't a border keep people out?

The wall will cost money to build, maintain, and the fact that portions of a wall has been built and it has not detour illegal immigration because of the tunnel systems under it make it a stupid idea.

Before you write they can sensor the area and landmine it, well that will not happen and again the wall will cost money to maintain...

Also do you want America to be like East Berlin or North Korea?

The simpler answer is to go after the employers that hire illegals, dry up every avenue for money, hire more ice agents, and use the drones at the border, and punish sanctuary states and cities.

The wall does nothing but make you believe the issue is solved when it will never be solved until someone goes into Mexico and Central America and clean up that mess down there...

So let me state again enforce the laws on the books.

Hire more agents.

Use the drones on the border.

Punish states and cities that are sanctuaries for illegals.

If you do this it would fix a hell of a lot more than that silly wall!

NO but I can tell the left does in this country.

Umm... If they both "do the exact same thing" then why do we need to spend time, effort & money building a wall?

Trump, once he is convicted and sentenced for fraud, is going to learn all about walls.

For the same reason we have to spend time and money on enforcing every other law in this country.

A border, assuming people follow the law, keeps people out and so does a wall. Why get upset at a wall when we have borders that do the exact same thing as a border?

The OP answers his own question but more to the point, why are the RWNJs so thrilled about Drumpf's lie about building a wall while voting against improving infrastructure in their own country?

A border does the same thing a wall does which is to keep people out. Why be upset at a wall when a border does the same thing?

Why get upset about a wall? Because part of the money they're proposing to waste building and maintaining the useless thing is MINE, building a wall just adds to the cost of border/immigration enforcement and given the actual results the cost is far too high already.
