Reopen the sand and gravel operation and then use those profits to help get some others started for they could be self sufficient. Plus I'd fix the vehicles that we have that are in ill repair. Go shopping with a couple hundred of it. Take the dog in and let someone else groom him.

$5M? That's a lotta dough. Let's see, I'd:

Hire an accountant.

Put $3M (one for each kid) in a fund.

The remaining $2M? Some to charity - autism research and animal shelters; the rest . . . possibly buy a vacation house somewhere (down the shore or maybe the mountains), possibly put an addition of some sort onto the house. Definitely recarpet the entire house and put new windows in all around. Redo the kitchen. Ooo, get another dog from the spca!! Is $2M enough for all that?

I can saddle a horse as a matter of fact! I'll even bring a roll of quarters along and when that horse stops rocking back and forth, I'll put in another quarter I have to advise you though. The fire truck is more fun and you get to ride it longer for a quarter...
